LOCAL 564 MEMBERS RECOGNIZED FOR THEIR EFFORTS

A Boeing 767, A/C 351, was permanently emblazoned with a huge, red white and blue decal declaring: The Spirit of San Francisco – Employees Making the Difference will remind AA employees and customers across the country for years of the success of TWU Local 564 workers at SFO.

The Spirit of San Francisco recognizes the efforts our SFO members put forth. These efforts demonstrate the value our labor brings to AA and the bargaining table. SFO members were recognized not only by the company but also by representatives from other locals as well as International Officers.

Keith Stewart, President Local 565, Steve Luis, President Local 514, Dennis Burchette, TWU International VP, Don Videtich, TWU International Administrative Representative, and the Local 564 Executive Board including our President John Ruiz attended the daylong celebration.

President Ruiz took the stage personally acknowledging the value these SFO members bring to AA. The work they accomplished in SFO will make it easier for all the negotiators as they work to make gains in our benefits, improvements to our working conditions and increases in our pay.
