ATTENTION ALL RECALLS
As the transfers to DFW from the western region continue, the
recalls to LAX & SFO will be ongoing. Please remember to have a
current phone number and address information on file with the company.
Any delay to your return to work can adversely impact your Occupational

RECALL LIST UPDATE
Local 564
has received the most-current recall list from the company. However, it
is important to note, this list is a “snapshot” list. The recall list
continues to change on a daily basis primarily due to article 16(a) of
the collective bargaining agreement.
According
to Mary Tinsman’s (Employee Relations) email correspondence:
“Depending on how long someone has been laid off from a particular city,
his (her) seniority may be subject to recalculation in the event he
(she) has been on the street for more than three years.”
EXAMPLE:
Employee A
(occ. seniority 1-17-99) and Employee B (occ. seniority 1-18-99) are
laid off in LAX. At the time of layoff, Employee A is senior to
Employee B. Employee A takes layoff to the street, while Employee B
accepts a transfer to another station, staying on payroll. If anytime
after three years there is a recall needed in LAX, Talent Services would
then pull up the recall list, recalculating the seniority of Employee A,
which would result in Employee B being recalled before Employee A.
This is an
important fact to note, indicative why the list’s accuracy is only
actually accurate the day it is pulled. Any recall information we
receive at the local will be posted on the website. Also, please make
sure your mailing address information is current with American Airlines,
as per Article 16(f). Contact Employee Services at 1-800-447-2000 or
via e-mail (Employee.Services@aa.com) to facilitate any changes you may
need to make.
